I told Jared this year that I wanted him to make me dinner for Mothers Day. We spent the day relaxing and lazing around. I don't know what has been getting into me lately but I'm starting to have days where I can't sleep in. Sunday was one of them, I was up at 6:30! The nice part about it was that the dogs and I spent some quiet time in the office while I paid bills and budgeted for the month. Then Ethan woke up and gave me the card he made; he did such a good job, it was beautiful. He made me chocolate milk for breakfast and read while I finished up in the office. A perfect morning. He made coffee while I woke Jared up and watched 90210. After an hour of trying to watch TV loudly to wake him up nicely, I had to break out the big guns and really WAKE him up. I had to do something so I could get my card. I look forward to the holidays with him because he has a way with words. It makes me want to cry every time. But every time I look forward to them. They are always the most heartfelt sweet tidbits. I think one of these days I'm going to have to dig out all of his cards and type them somewhere special.
We went on our first walk that afternoon followed by a quick nap! Our walks are our family time, Ethan rides his scooter and we bring Dina along. When we are all up for it we go exploring in the mountains behind our house. After our nap we all decided that it sounded much better for someone to wait on us for dinner so we went out for Indian food!!
Thank you for a perfect Mothers Day!!!
