We had this for dinner on Tuesday and it was perfect for a quick and filling dinner. Ethan didn't even complain!
1 lbs ground beef or turkey
Spices: Sprinkle on top of meat pepper, cumin, garlic powder, minced onion
1 can beef broth (ckn if using turkey)
1 Tbs flour
1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbs White Vinegar
3 lg potatoes
½ cup milk
Peel potatoes and chop into lg cubes, add to water, boil for about 20 min
Drain potatoes put back in pot, add milk and mash together
Brown meat in skillet with spices
Add Flour to meat, mix together
Add Broth mix well
Add Worcestershire and Vinegar
Pour meat and gravy mix into baking dish, spread mashed potatoes on top and bake in oven for 15 min or until the top gets golden brown. (I cheat after about 10 min and put in the broiler for a few minutes but you really have to watch it.)
